As we lay down and look at the stars
Because we are at the top of the mountain they don’t look so far
Being amazed by how they make the sky look so bright
As the wolves begin to howl it gives us a fright
So GOD sent an angel to sit and hold our trembling hands
Then it says it is important for you to take a stand
While sitting around the campfire we listen to the stories of old
How man has lusted for the power while holding a pot of gold
Sitting all night while listening we watch it become foggy
Just to realize that everything has become so soggy
After drying everything we decided to head to town
Just seeing all the homes and hearing the noise give me a frown
So the angel ask why are you so sad
Being able just to see the sunrise should make you feel glad
So as each day goes on you have a small task to do
