There once was a man that preached across the land
As he stood on the hill side taking his father’s stand
He told the story how Moses talk to the burning bush
And when it was over it turned to rust
There were many children sitting at his feet
And as they listen his voice sounded so sweet
He spoke of the comment to love one and another
And treat each other as you are brother
So as we listen to the stories that have been handed down
How man had disobeyed him and brought on a sadden frown
The words were spoken and will have some reaction
From the ones in power to give them some satisfaction
He spoke how some of his disciple will turn their heads
And then cry at night as they lay in their beds
When the third day came and he rose from the grave
He gave the disciples forgiveness and told them to be brave
For the time will come that we all will be together
And stand in the presents of my father for ever
