Tornado

I go out side to my sand box to play

When mom said be careful for the sky looks so gray

My friend came over with some of his toys

When we heard the siren making a loud noise

Mom was screaming for me to get inside

Watching my friend running home as he waved goodbye

I saw a large black cloud touching the ground

As some of the trees started to break making a strange sound

So mom ran out and we sat in the sand

Listing to her scream as she squeezed my hand

Then it got so quite you could hear a pin drop

As a bright light came down and covered our spot

After the sky cleared up we looked down the street

And smell from the torn flowers smelt so sweet

I listen as mom prays thanking God for what he done

As she explains to me how we were protected by his SON
