We use our minds to take time to think
But then we lose it when we take a strong drink
It gives some the thought they are so strong
And sometime speak even if it is wrong
The eyes get weaker as the night gets late
And at times the knees will get so weak
Your balance will show others that it’s time to stop
That’s when your friend will offer you a soda pop
Your keys are taken so you can’t drive
But that doesn’t mean you will lose your pride
You will argue with the bartender when it’s time to go home
Because he can see that you are so stoned
So in the morning when you awake and see the sun
You will wonder if the night was really that much fun
