Have you ever wondered what Jesus felt
The day the world turned and gave him a belt
He walked on earth teaching his fathers will
And prayed on top of a lonely hill
He walked through the city holding people’s hands
As some thought this was so grand
But as it was written the people turned their backs
As they put on a crown and gave him a hard slap
But while on the cross the people listened as he spoke
That soon you will learn that this is not a joke
But in our loss of a love one we wonder why
While sitting in a rocker as we start to cry
Take time to look at the bright stars tonight
As an angel will comfort you saying everything will be alright
So tomorrow while everything is going so great
Take a moment to think what it will be like meeting Jesus at his pearly gate
