While sitting on the porch talking to my friend
A question was asked why people think that the world is coming to an end
The first thing that comes to my mind is the kids of today
They don’t know how to go outside just to play
They think that the computer is the way to boost their mind
But we know that this is why they have a hard time making a dime
The games can’t teach them what is the meaning of life
And women are good enough to be a wife
If you ask them to sit on the porch and listen how nature sounds so grand
They may come out but we see that the cell phone is still in their hand
In a soft tone I said look at the edge of the trees there stands beautiful deer
We hear them complain how there is no signal here
Then I hear the most stupid question so what is your point
Because all I want to do is to have a good joint
So I have to answer his question with this thought
As Christ was on the cross our life has been bought
But we can’t wonder what the world thinks
Why they sit at a bar having a strong drink
Just to know that when it’s the right time
I know that this will be HIS time for all to shine
