We hear the farmers are crying because of the dust
As you look at the trees leaf as they look like rust
The wind picks up as it starts to blow
Does it make you wonder where it all goes
The heat of the day makes large cracks in the land
Knowing if it doesn’t rain they’ll lose a grand
Now you can hear the tractor running in their field
Knowing that the crops won’t make any yield
Looking at the pain of the farmers face- asking for a little grace
But he knows that this isn’t at his only place
The banks are worried that there might not be any money
But you hear that some will be ok for they can harvest some honey
The mountain tops are bare for there isn’t any snow
And the trees are having problems just to grow
If you look at the weather from the past
They know that this drought won’t last
But it is hard to trust that God has a wonderful plan
Sending his angels letting know to trust and take a stand
