I walk thru forest down a narrow path
At times it feels like some one is holding me back
I turned to look and to my surprise
I watch a wolf come and stand by my side
We walk into the opening of a cave for it was getting late
As we sat there my stomach was growling because I haven’t ate
I watched him leave and disappear into the trees
An to my surprise I could hear his cry in the breeze
A loud noise was at the entrance of the cave
As I picked up a club for I thought I was so brave
Sitting at the camp fire to keep me warm
And was happy for it was starting to storm
The lightning was flashing and the sound of thunder was loud
Sitting and talking to the wall thinking I was so proud
To my surprise in came in a bunch of deer
So now I had something to give out a small cheer
Even though I was hungry i couldn’t give them any harm
And then I heard the voice of an angel saying you have a great charm
I didn’t understand what she was trying to say
So I got on my knees and started to pray
The answer was given and said go to the end of this cave
As you will find a tree of berries that help you to solve what you crave
The deer came and follow as we shared the food
Staring in their eyes we knew how it tasted so good
Now the storm has stop and the deer left me there
And was happy for them and didn’t even care
For because of God’s love it was a time that we had
And my heart was happy because I wasn’t even sad
