As we come to the end of this year
We see that christmas is getting near
The tree is decorated with strings of light
They light up the room like the stars at night
There may be packages under the tree
But there are others with a greater need
So maybe this year we need to give a hand
To those in need that live in our land
So I will send a prayer for Santa to read
To give some hope for the ones in need
