People like to sound off about the problems of today
As we sit around the pot belly stove because we can’t go out to play
We hear the talk about the taxes, and how everything is getting out of hand
The price of food has risen and the farmer can’t sell their food from a open stand
We see people that are out of work and maybe need some temporally help
But let’s get the information on the 15 pages and then it will be set on a self
There will be some that can’t work because of their health
And these are the ones that are really getting a hard belt
The system of this country has made it for us to become lazy
And if you think that I need now to work your just a little crazy
So what we need to help make this country strong today
Is to start and make each one responsible and earn some of their pay
Then as the country begins to get stronger the spirit will be high
And we will see our mighty eagle getting stronger as it flies in the sky
So maybe the old pot belly stove might spark a new way of life
And make us responsibly so we can sleep well through the night
