Damage

Sitting in the forest drinking a glass of wine

And gazing at the sky looking at the bright sun shine

When I hear a strange noise coming from the hills

And then the wind comes up giving me a awful chill

The hunters get out thinking they will get a kill

As they stare at me when I give out a loud yell

Then I climb up to the tree top to hide

As the birds and squirrels sit by my side

You can hear the cry of the wolf in his cave

And the splashing sounds of the ocean wave

But nature has it ways to mend our land

and repair the damage done by man’s hand
