Years have passed since the bombing of our towers
The flags use to fly but now it is like a spring shower
We think about it on one day and then the cloud passes us by
As we have forgotten about the screams and terrible cry
As the family lost love ones and many jobs were lost
But time has past and all they worry about is just the cost
It is easy to rebuild a building but our shield has been hurt
The spirit and strength of the Eagle has been at it’s worst
At times it was just a strong word from us to get things done
But the world just look at us as if we just want to have some fun
We can see the unity of the country is not as strong
And they are making it into a sad country song
So lets not forget about the day we were given a black eye
And show the world we can get it together and stand side by side
This is the greatest country the world has ever seen
So lets start today and show them what freedom really means
