I watch the birds as they begin to fly
For the season is changing as it is starting to get cold
And it makes me realize that I as getting old
I think about how the years seems to going by so fast
And sit and remember how the parties were such a blast
Nothing seem to bother us when we were young
But after high school is when the problems begun
We have found a place that we call our home
As we have watch the children as they have grown
To wonder if we have learned anything through the year
For the spirit has harden and it is hard to shed a tear
To watch how our world as it is being hurt
As man has polluted the air and it’s dirt
The color of the streams have been changed from a blue to a brown
And some of the ponds have dried and you can see cracks in it’s ground
We have killed a lot of beautiful animals that God has given us
Because we think of it as sport and gives us such a rush
But there is time for us to make a change
Even though we have lost our open range
So as this challenge is given to you
To open our eyes and learn what we must do
To help this world last just one more day
So our children’s children will have a place to play
