The ground is wet as we play today
Hoping that the castle we built will stay
Mom calls asking if we wanted something to drink
Watching as she smiles and gave us a large wink
We never worried about the time
While the days sunlight still shines
At the dinner table we tell Mom how the day was fun
Then it’s time to get the dishes done
It’s time for bed so Mom reads us a story
About a man that was sent to fill GODS glory
Mom reads how he was able to walk on the water
But never got the chance to become a father
We ask Mom if it tells about when he was a kid
It’s written how he would visit the temples instead
Our eyes were getting heavy so she whispered lets get some sleep
And tomorrow we will read how many people started to weep
Now it’s time to get up as Mom yells breakfast is on
And after that you will be able to go out and have some more fun
But the rain started and the lighting was hitting the ground
As we looked at Mom giving her a sad frown
So Mom said lets get back into the Bible
To learn how many people would listen at the revival
So as the day comes to an end
We learn that Jesus is our best friend
