Why is it that humans want to pollute the water
That makes a home for a little otter
Then cut down the big redwood trees
That helps to clean up the air we breathe
They plow up the land to build a home
Hoping nothing could happen making them out of stone
The lights from the city become so bright
And blocks the beautiful stars at night
They kill the buffalo and mount their heads on the wall
Then dance all night just to have a ball
Then they drill a hole in the land
Hoping to find oil to make a grand
We know that the destruction will never end
And to be able to see how beautiful it was when it first began
But we do read that one day we will see GOD’S Son
And be able to play with the animals and have so much fun
