Life was given to us when we was born
And yes there are times we needed to be scorned
The pain that we have while getting old
At times we will become a little bold
It has been written what we are expected to live by
And there are some that put the commandments aside
We have been given the privilege to watch as the sun comes up
While sitting on a chair drinking from a coffee cup
We take for granted what was given to us from heaven
As we listen to the sounds from God’s little raven
He leads us each day of our life
Hoping that we learn what is wrong or right
Reading that when God first walked on this earth
He knew what our life was truly worth
But then he had to send his son
To teach us what he wanted done
We are to love each other as our best friend
And someday we will walk together again
