We listen to the sounds coming from our land
while sitting by the water on the warm sand
the large eagle screams as it is flying by
and hearing the sound of the coyote as it starts it’s cry
the trees are swaying from the warm breeze
as you hear the sounds from the ships sailing across the sea
nature is trying to tell us what man has done
as the prairie has been destroyed just so man can have some fun
GOD hears our prayer while asking for rain
but is disappointed because it is for their own gain
the blue water is turning black from all of mans trash
so why do you ask why the children have that painful rash
you can hear the native Indians dancing to the drummer beat
asking that their harvest will taste so sweet
as each day goes by you will ask so many question
but won’t listen to GOD”S suggestion
to read what his SON preached across the land
and maybe you will understand why nature has taken a mighty stand
