We take life for granted in so many different ways
As the sun comes up we head to work just to make a little pay
There is so much stretch trying to get things done
While doing our work to realize this isn’t so much fun
Heading for home we think what a rough day
Not thinking how God’s grace has let us stay
We just heard that a friend just passed away during the night
So we open the Bible reading a verse saying everything this was right
In our heart we hear the angels singing a soft tone
For it was time for God to take them home
While living on this earth we think the pain was so rotten
But we will learn that in heaven everything will be forgotten
So in the morning as you feel the warmth of the sun
Take time to thank God for all that he has done
