Did you know that Christ didn’t have to come to earth
But because of his father promise we now celebrate his birth
He was raised by his foster father
And because of the angle speaking to him it wasn’t a bother
As a teenager he never got to have any fun
But this didn’t bother him for he knew he was God’s son
He met some that refused to believe
Even when they saw him pray on his knees
He would speak and help the sick
As some would say this is nothing but a cheap trick
The day did come when he had to die
As you can hear his mother start to cry
But as we live throughout this wonderful year
Why don’t we take the time to give him a silent cheer
