We had a president that as so brave
As he work so hard to free the slave
Then there was one that signed a bill that still stands
To lay concrete across this mighty land
I listen to a man as he preached, I HAVE A DREAM
While I stand listening to the crowds starting to scream
The scientist talks about visiting mars real soon
As we watch on T.V. showing man stepping on the moon
We wonder why the restaurants have made a huge change
For we watch how the fast-food building are getting out of range
There was a man that dreamed to build some kids rides
Watching him smile cutting that ribbon with so much pride
The music of this country has taken a new stand
As we watch the young kids listening to the rock and roll from a loud band
We built two buildings that stood so tall
When two planes crashed as we watch them burn and fall
There are men that want to sell our national parks
And close many places for us to have a beautiful walk
We watch how a new era has crossed this land
For the lying and cheating has gotten out of hand
We watch how nature must take a new stand
Because of the wild fires across our land
But there are some waiting for this country to fall
But are disappointed for the pride of our flag still stands tall
