Why is it that people want to make things change just for them
For I found my self ready to give up my life for a friend
It seams that the unselfish people have been call up by GOD
As they sit next to him and watch the people on earth begin to sob
For it is written that their spirit has been made hole
To think of how many times we need to be told
But we just don’t want to listen as the word is being preached
And sometime think that death is out of are reach
But when it is near to us that is when we always want to ask why
Maybe it was that we never got the time just to say good by
So we hear the words from the preacher how life will go on
And it is important to remember that now they are having so much fun
For their spirit has been put back to the way god’s image is like
And have the power to be able to watch over us to help get things right
So as you feel the soft breeze brushing you at your side
Lets wipe away those giant tears from your sore eyes
To make them proud as they hold your hand twenty four hours a day
And to thank them for what they are doing when you got to the closet to pray
