What has happen to our world today
For it’s more important that we watch our children play
While they start to look for the hidden candy in the grass
Not thinking of what really happened in the past
For the stakes were high but was written for us
To show us the love from God and prove his almighty trust
But there was a day when there wasn’t any candy
Or the children running around think this was dandy
For the wind did stop and the clouds became so dark
When it was the time for his spirit to part
But when it will be our time to get our candy
Will be in heaven as our new life will be so dandy
