The road was quite and there were many streaks of light
As some of them seamed to get close it would give me a fright
My heart began to beat for I was stranded in a strange land
Then I heard a voice call out to me wondering if I needed a hand
As I was telling about the problem of the day to my surprise
There was another strange voice talking from the other side
I heard them talking as they were looking at my flat tire
Because at this time a tow truck was going to be needed hired
One got on the cell phone trying to get a number for help
Thinking that my quest to see my family had just gotten a big belt
At times we think everything will be ok as God is by your side
But after the second time this happened I just wanted to start to cry
Then as she talked her voice eased my spirit for her father was on the way
For he thinks he might have a tire and it will help in the amount to pay
I watch him work so hard in giving this stranger a helping hand
Didn’t know that God had sent me three angels with a love that was so grand
As my eyes filled with tears it was hard to get on my way
For it is hard to understand what God has in mind for us each day
So if it is a quest or even a simple task given for you to do
Remember that God will be there as he walks in your shoe
