We can walk on the moon as we fly in outer space
And the knowledge we learned has help the human race
The tools and are toys have improved over the years
But sadness in the heart still bring out those little tears
Time around us seems to be moving so fast
But when we get old we just think of the past
We have lost the common knowledge that has made us so strong
And think that the computer hasn’t done us wrong
If we were able to sit and talk to our fore fathers
You would probably hear they say why even bother
Their knowledge has made this country so strong
And the computer is what doing us the most harm
There always be those that will strongly disagree
But then that is what made this country so great and free
We need to use the computer as a great tool
And not make us look like such a big fool
Look around and ask some to add or subtract
And not use a machine to cover their act
Then you will learn how far we have come
And now you have been told what must be done
Teach the children to first stop think for themself
And not rely on the computer for some help
The mind is great if we use it just right
Because as this poem has stated about the space flight
So the test will be what your children will do
If they will stop and use their greatest tool
